Aarons does a fantastic job of conveying the otherworldly nature of the character, with her movements and mannerisms feeling almost inhuman.

The plot is fairly thin and predictable, with the characters following a standard horror movie formula of investigating a creepy location and slowly uncovering its dark secrets. Additionally, some viewers may find the movie's portrayal of nuns and the Catholic Church to be problematic.
